Over the years, this breed has remained popular and was known for being one of the first cats from Egypt to be introduced to Europe, despite the following World War I conflicts that obliterated their numbers. Nevertheless, they have since bounced back in popularity, and recent imports from places like Egypt and India have very much kept the breed alive.
Personality
